Woodworking Classes
Beginning Woodworking — $25
10 a.m. to noon Saturdays. An introduction to woodworking. Learn the safe way to use more than 25 machines, get certified to use the wood shop and complete a wooden cutting board in the process.
Beginning Intarsia Woodworking — $15
10 a.m. to noon Sept. 4 and 18. Intarsia is the art of piecing wood together in a decorative pattern. You’ll cut, put together and finish an item made of solid wood to last forever.
Advanced Intarsia Woodworking — $20
10 a.m. to noon Sept. 11 and 25. Craft unique items using intricate pieces of solid wood.

- Carpenter on duty for guidance and reference.
- Update or qualify for the AF Operators card at safety briefings and beginner’s woodworking class.
- Hard woods and plywood in stock for sale.
- Books and plans available for shop users.
- Lots of room to work with the industrial equipment and hand power tools.
