NAF SALE ~ Feb 2-4 and 9-11
Feb 2 and 9 — 8-11 a.m. open to active duty military and/or their dependents ONLY. 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. open to all DOD card holders.
Feb. 3, 4, 10 and 11 — 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. open to all DOD card holders.
Items for sale include: assorted furniture, small appliances, TVs, mattresses and box springs.
The sale will be held in the consolidated warehouse, Building 4514 on M Street, across from the main exchange. All sales are cash and carry.
Customers must load their own purchases and remove them immediately. Commercial reps. should not expect to make quantity buys.

NOTE: Due to limited space, only 10 patrons will be allowed in the warehouse at one time. Numbers will be assigned in order of your arrival. Entry will be permitted in numerical order. Please be prepared for extended wait time. We appreciate your patience. |

Not So Ultra Beginners’ Computer Classes
FREE at McBride Library ~ Seating is limited.
Feb. 10 — 9-11 a.m. learn the basics of web based email, how to set up your first email account, creating rules, organizing your inbox, and more.
Feb 17 — 9-11 a.m. learn how to save files, search for lost items, plus get an introduction to Windows Explorer and more.
Feb. 24 — 9-11 a.m. create data backups using optical disc technology (CDs/DVDs) and get an introduction to online storage solutions and home servers.
Mar. 3 — 9-11 a.m. introduction to games, hobbies, free calls, video, photos, multimedia and more.

Spring Scramble Golf Tournament
March 20, shotgun start at noon, two-person scramble - using 30% of team's total handicap. Entry fees: inclusive members $20, annual members $25, non-members $35. Must have a GHIN handicap or verifible official handicap card. |

Give Parents a Break
4-10 p.m. Feb. 6. This Air Force Aid program offers free child care at the CDC and Youth Center for AF families who are referred by base helping agencies such as the Airman and Family Readiness Center, and Family Advocacy, as well as first sergeants, commanders and chaplains. Also eligible are families of deployed AF members.
NOTE: School age children come the Youth Center. |

Fit to Fight Incentive Program
Conducted year round. Participants sign up at the front desk at Blake, Dragon or Triangle Fitness Center. Each day participants record the miles they accumulate running, walking, biking, swimming or on exercise machines that record miles. They’re awarded with a T-shirt after 100 miles, a backpack for 500 miles, and a cool dri workout shirt when they reach the 1,000 mile mark.

Volunteer Opportunities
Cycling Enthusiast Volunteer Needed
Outdoor Recreation is looking for a knowledgeable volunteer to assist in the planning, organization and implementation of non-competitive bicycle rides for all ages and abilities in conjunction with the Air Force Blue Streak Bicycle Ride Program.
Interested personnel should call 377-0002.
McBride Library is looking for volunteers to help:
- Shelve books, movies, DVDs, CDs, etc.
- Assist with story time
- Create displays
Inquire at the main desk inside the library if interested.
Keesler AFB Youth Employment Skills (YES) Program
